He Did It Again!

Every morning, every night

Birds sing their sweet refrain.

Accompanying His paintbrush,

Yep. He did it again!

Storm clouds roll across the skies

Bringing wind and the rain.

A reminder rainbow in the sky

Yep. He did it again!

Raising our voices up to Him

A melody we maintain.

Tears of worship silently fall.

Yep. He did it again!

The struggles. The suffering.

Things we just can’t explain.

Yet when the mess is straightened up,

Yep. He did it again!

Ever present. Ever near.

My hope in Him remains.

Lifting my head. He’s always good.

Yep. He did it again!

Grow Slow

Let go of the rat race

The hurry and the haste.

The mindset of doing more

Or else our time we’ll waste.

 

For it’s in the growing slow

Where we’re offered so much more.

Allowing God to touch our souls

A sneak peek for what’s in store.

 

Embrace each day as it comes

Every season has its thing.

Our enough is enough

If we allow our hearts to sing.

 

Sing praises to our God and King

Give thanks in all we do.

For even in the wintertime

We prepare for something new.

 

Spring is just around the corner

New life is breaking forth.

God’s perfect plan before us

We must just stay the course.

 

To hurry is to miss

What is right before our eyes.

Everything in its season

There is no improvise.

God’s timing is always perfect.

We trust His plan for He knows.

There is so much more to gain

If we remember to just grow slow.
