Favorite Things

Football in fall, Let’s go buhler...KSU,

Flannel and scarves and some very cute boots

Socks are now needed, we hope they will cling,

These are a few of my favorite things.

Hot buttery popcorn in bowls by the fire

Bright twinkly lights glowing on a thin wire,

The winter brings cold while the carolers sing

These are a few of my favorite things. 

When spring weather beckons, we must go outside

To run or to walk it's so hard to decide. 

With Tim in my ear as a tune he does sing

These are a few of my favorite things.

Summer is best as I lay by the pool,

I read on my raft and try to stay so cool. 

Bright pink toenails with two cute toe rings

These are a few of my favorite things. 

Mentos to chew on, your boogers will freeze,

A diet coke to sip on from good ol’ Mickey D’s,

All year round these make the angels sing,

These are a few of my favorite things.

When the boys fight,

When the tests bomb

When I'm just feeling sad.

I simply remember my favorite things

And then I don't feel so bad.
